Belly - week 26

At last the "E" has been found and we don't have to rename Alexa. It was a long weekend however we finished up the nursery and completed our 2nd baby registry. We don't have time to rest this week either, we have two baby classes and another doctor's appointment. We are looking forward to seeing how our girls have progressed over the last 4 weeks and wonder what new thing we are going to see or hear this sonogram. However I know most of you are not here to read my rambling, you want the good stuff, so here's Misti's most recent picture. Everyday she glows brighter.

Belly - week 25

Another good week in the Griese household. Misti spent 3 hours at the doctors office getting a glucose test, but we have to wait for the results to come back this week. However, the results are in for the "Who's Belly is Bigger" poll.... and the winner is Me with 9 votes and Misti with only 5 votes. I must be carrying triplets in there. However, Misti is gaining on me fast. Check out her picture below. If you scroll down the screen you will see how Misti has grown over the last 25 weeks. 104 days to go till the babies are born.

Belly - week 24

Misti and I are competing to see who's belly is bigger. Post your vote in the poll to the left. After a week of baby classes that we will never forget, we are becoming better prepared for the task at hand, twins.

Belly - week 23

Another good week in the Griese house. Misti is progressing well and the twins are very active. They get lively after meals and kick all night long. They must be practicing their soccer kicks. This coming week we begin baby classes.

More Pics

We had another routine follow-up visit to the doctor and sonogram machine today. The girls are doing well and growing nicely. They are both 1 lb 4 oz and positioned head down. We got to see their mouths and hearts very clearly on the sonogram. It was amazing to see how the human heart works. The sonogram from the 2/6/09 doctor visit has also been added, scroll down to the 2/6/09 post.

Pic #6 - Twin B's definitely a girl also, all signs are pointing to fraternal twins but a test will need to be done after birth to confirm.

Belly - week 22

The nursery has been painted and the furniture positioned in the room. We are going back to the doctor on Friday for our regular appointment. Hopefully another good sonogram and checkup. The girls have been active in Misti's belly. Every night they are kicking and moving around. Misti's nightly sleep has improved with the help of a pregnancy pillow and a humidifier.
