Gingerbread House

Since we moved into our new home, this will be our 1st Christmas here. When we bought the house we didn't think of how tall it is and how hard it would be to put lights up. However, I married George Griswald himself, and not having lights was not an option.
So our house looked like a gingerbread house after the lights were up. I loved it, this was the best Christmas present ever. There is just something special coming home and seeing your house all lit up and cars slowing down to look at your house when they drive by.


I also love decorations in the house. The girls even made a couple of ornaments at school that we put on the tree. They made a baby Jesus, and were obsessed with it.






And our newest addition to the family is Debo, our Elf on a Shelf. He would show up every morning and the girls would have to find him. Then in the evenings he would return home to Santa and report on how Alex and Ava were for that day. We can't wait for him to return next year...
