Disney World Dec 21, 2010 - Jan 5, 2011

What a huge trip for our family...It was the 1st time to fly with the girls, the first time the girls have been out of the state of Texas, first time to meet Aunt Michelle, Uncle Graeme , and cousins Cameron and Alyssa. Those were just a few firsts...We had so much fun!!!

We started our trip by flying out Friday Dec 31 afternoon...The flight was great, no crying, no dirty diapers, and 2 very content happy girls!!! We landed in Orlando, picked up our bags, grabbed our rental car, and were off to the house where we were staying. Made it to the amazing house, which included an amazing heated pool and hot tub!!! We got changed and headed out to eat dinner at a local knock-out steakhouse called Manny's Chop House! The food was great, the service was wonderful, day 1 of our vacation, was great fun!!!

The next morning we all woke up, had breakfast and ventured out to Sea World.


I don't know i f the girls had more fun watching the dolphin, whale or bird show...Or if they enjoyed feeding the sharks, sea otters or sting rays...All I know is they were so wired and excited, Sea World was a perfect adventure for Alexa and Ava.



When we woke up Sunday morning, we decided Animal Kingdom sounded like fun.

Graeme, Cameron, Alyssa, Alexa, Ava, Mike and I loaded up and headed out to Magic Kingdom...


The girls enjoyed some of the things, but there weren't as many animals and there weren't a lot of places for them to get out of their strollers and run around. There were plenty of characters to get your pictures taken with, however, the girls weren't really into it. This was probably the least favorite thing the girls did...



Finally, the best part of the trip, hands down...MAGIC KINGDOM...


We began by riding a ferry over to Magic Kingdom


Pictures can't even explain how amazing it was. There were so many activities for all ages, the day was packed with fun...We rode the Tea Cups, the Carousel

And finished the evening off with a spectacular fireworks show...

I could have spent 2 days in a row at Magic Kingdom...Truly was a place where dreams can come true!

Unfortunately, reality hit, and it was time to go home! This will be a vacation that's going to be hard to outdo.

It's been a long time...

Wow, I can't believe it has been over a year since our last post. How quickly life and priorites change with 2 lil' ones. My goal for 2011 is to post more often to show the great exciting happenings from the Griese household.

Can you believe they are 18 months old already...



This past year Mike and I have been very blessed. We got to experience so many new adventures:

1st Flight - Orlando, Florida to spend New Years with Mickey and Minnie in Disney World

and I could go on forever. This has been an amazing year. I can only imagine what 2011 has in store for us...
