Super Bowl...

Well, even with the crazy weather, the Super Bowl was a success...Arlington hosted the Green Bay Packers vs Pittsburgh Steelers for Super Bowl 45 (whatever the roman numerals are). Unfortunatley with such crappy weather the events leading up to the big game were a little dissapointing. I sucked it up and headed to Sundance Square in downtown Fort Worth to see ESPN (and try to get on TV). Of course the day I go, they moved indoors to do the show...Just my luck. However, I got a couple of pics.

The next day was better. Reggie Bush actually was there when we were...I got a quick iPhone pic.

We enjoyed watching Green Bay win at Jason and Melisa's house. It was great a great time with friends and family.

Snow, Snow, Snow

The first week of February is one to remember. After 80 plus hours of below freezing weather, we had cabin fever.

Here is a pic of Alexa looking out the window at the snow. She hated being stuck in the house.

The girls were so ready to break out of the house, that on Friday I bundled them up (tights, socks, thick wind pants, shoes, long sleeve shirt, fleece jacket, winter coat, mittens, stocking cap) and we headed out. It was so much fun, the girls tried to run (but I think I put too many clothes on) and they would just tumble face first in the snow. I would pick them up and they were back at it. Canton and Dexter even enjoyed getting out and running wild. We ate the snow, Ava loved it, Alexa could have cared less...She was more interested in running and letting out some of the energy she saved from being cooped up all week.

Fort Worth Stock Show (Jan 30, 2011)

We woke up on Sunday morning, got dressed and met G-Ma, G-Mark, Uncle Billy, Aunt Jacy and Cousin Cannon at Ol South Pancake House. After filling up on breakfast, we headed out to the Fort Worth Stock Show...
The weather could not have been better. Alexa, Ava and Cannon had a great time petting and looking at all the animals. We even went to a small petting area where they chased anf fed chickens, sheep, goats, a minature horse, alpaca, bunnies and so many other animals I can't remember. I am disapointed in myself because I did not take as many pictures as I wanted, but sometimes I get so caught up in the fun that I forget to take pictures.
Anyways, I would have to say the highligh of the day had to be the GMC football toss! We could have stayed there the enitre day. The lady was so kind, she even gave all three of them a football to take home!

Mike even had a good time. With all the "big kid toys" he looked at the trucks, tractors, etc. I had to convince him to crawl up on the tractor so I could take a picture! Isn't he cute?
