March 2011

The number one thing going on in March was that Charlie Sheen took his total train wreck of a life public and go fired from his show on Two and a Half Men. Seemed he was in the spotlight the entire month, people just waiting to see what kind of crazy thing he would say. Here's a few...Winning, trolls, tiger blood, warlock...yep, just to name a few things he said in interviews...But onto the better more important things...My girls, and they turned 21 months in March...It was a big month for Alexa and Ava...

I figured it was time, and Melisa had been on me to follow through with it, to get the girls 1st HAIRCUTS!!! It started out ok, Ava was so big and decided to go first, she did great, especially after Melisa surprised her with not 1, but 2 suckers...Here are some of Ava's first haircut pics...

Alexa did not enjoy the haircut as much as Ava. She had watched Ava and wanted no part when it was her turn. However, Melisa spoiled Alexa and gave her 2 suckers, so the crocodile tears faded away.

To end the month, Mike, myself and the girls moved into our dream home on May 28, 2011. I never imagined I would ever live in a neighborhood like I do, much less the house we have. It is 4 bedrooms 3.5 bathrooms, HUGE gameroom, the list goes on and on...But most importantly our house is in a secluded neighborhood on a 1 acre lot. The girls have so much more freedom then they did at our old house.

It was sad to leave our old house, there were so many memories we had made over the past 5 years of living there. Mike proposed to me in January 2007 in the living room. That is where we brought Canton and Dexter to for their first home. It was where we cried and laughed when we found out we were having twins, and had no idea what we were doing. There was so much fun learning and living, but most importantly our first house was where Mike and I brought our 2 amazing gifts from God to when they were so fragile. The house at 992 Mesa Vista will always hold a special place in my heart, there are so many memories that house blessed us with. I just can't wait to see what our new home holds in store for our future...
