April 2011

April 13, we had big plans. Ashlyn was singing in the Kennedale Art in the Park. We piled in the car ready to enjoy the beginning signs of summer, about 90 degrees...

I just love bluebonnet pictures, there is something about how beautiful a field of bluebonnets truly is. So, when we saw a field of bluebonnets in front of someones house, so we hopped out, flopped the girls down and took some real quick pics before someone caught us...

Boy oh boy aren't we lucky!!! Not only did we get to do Orlando Florida back in December, we were able to spend another week there in April. I had a training for work, so we decided why not make a mini vacation out of it. Mike's mom and dad met us there, and while I was in training they would go to the park, site see, swim, and enjoy time together. This would be the first time that both of the girls stayed in a hotel room, Alexas sure did enjoy everybit of that. Of course we got to do Sea World, Downtown Diney and Magic Kingdom again. What a difference 6 months makes, the girls were so much more aware and really into everything. We had a great time, again :)

April is also Easter, and we enjoyed an AMAZING party that Minnie (Brenda) and PawPaw (Bob) had set up for all the kids. It was so fun watching them hunt for eggs. Ava actually did quite well, she had filled her basket full of eggs. Alexa however, refused to hunt eggs. I guess she thought it was silly to pick them up off the ground. So when everyone had overflowing baskets, she just took some from their baskets and put in hers. By the time she was done, her basket was full too!!! I tell you, they never seem to let me down with surprises, their wheels are just turning in there heads all the time... I wish I had pictures, but with 2 toddlers its hard to control them and take pics. I hate when I don't have a pic to post.

We are still enjoying the new house, trying to get unpacked and settled. We have really been enjoying the outdoor space we have. The girls love to ride their cars and tricycles in the driveway.
