Relaxing Awwwwgust...

The month of August we took it easy. I had quite a bit of morning (well all day) sickness. So activities were slowed down quite a bit. The girls got to enjoy their first vacation bible school at All Saints Lutheran. They had a great time. Made very cute crafts, sang songs and met new friends! Can't believe how fast my little ones are growing up!

July brings huge news...

Just when we thought things were slowing down, we were in for a huge surprise in July! July 23, we announced that we were expecting a baby. Yes, just 1 this time :)
Mike and I are very excited and can't wait to complete our family. The girls are very excited and ask everyday if its time for the baby yet. I have to keep reminding them that we have to wait until February until we can meet Lucas Cash or Parker Lyn.
So I'm pretty sure future posts will now include baby 3 along with Alexa and Ava.

New addition, Birthday time, and Six Flags - yep it's June

June was a very exciting month with 3 big events...
First off my beautiful niece Caden Blair was born June 4th. She is healthy and beautiful as can be. The girls and Cannon just love her to death.  We are so happy to have another cousin and niece!

Then June 18th, the girls turned 3. I know, I can't believe it either. Where has the time gone? The girls wanted their party at Pump It Up in Arlington. This is a huge bounce house that the kids can just go wild in. They really had a great time and enjoyed all their friends and family coming out to spend their special day with them. I didn't get a chance to take any pics, hate when I do that!

Then to end the month, we had my work party at Six Flags. The girls had never been beofre so I was a little worried that they wouldn't enjoy it and there wouldn't be much for kids their size. Boy was I wrong. The kiddie area was amazing. The girls were such daredevils and rode everything they were big enough to ride. I

Catch Up Time

So it has been about 5 months I have missed of blogging, and it's not because we haven't had anything going on, it's because we haven't had a free moment...

Here's what happened in May
We decided to take a family vacation to San Antonio. On the way there we stopped at the Snake Farm in San Marcos. Then headed downtown to the Riverwalk. We stayed at the Hyatt and enjoyed their hospitality. In the evenings they delivered milk and chocolate chip cookies to our room for the girls. We took a ride on the riverboat, walked around the riverwalk looking at fish and the new baby ducks. However, the girls really enjoyed the hotel swimming pool. We ordered drinks, snacks and lounged around at the pool one afternoon, very relaxing. Then we headed to the Alamo, Ripley's wax museum, and dinner on the riverwalk. The girls got light sabers and had a blast playing with them on the riverwalk.
Then it was off to Hyatt Hill Country Hotel and Sea World. The girls loved Sea World. They were the pefect age to really enjoy everything. Theyfed the dolphins and seals. They also enjoyed the Seseame Street play area. After an awesome day at Sea World it was back to the hotel for movie night on the lawn. They gave out drinks, popcorn, blankets and we watched Madagascar. What a perfect end to a perfect day.
We slept in and the next morning decided to spend the day at the hotel. They had a lazy river, kiddie sand pool, playground an nature hiking trails. We had a great time at the hotel. This will be a place we will be staying again!
On the way home we stopped at Mi Tierra's and ate and went shopping. Then stopped at the Natural Bridge Caverns and and drove through and fed the animals. After 5 days, I was ready to get home and sleep in our beds! However, this was an amazing vacation, and can't wait to do it again!
(please excuse the order of the pictures, I am updating from my Iphone and they aren't in the order I uploaded them in)
