Country Critters Pumpkin Patch

I love this time of year. It seems that there is always an activity or event that is age appropriate for the girls from now until Christmas. As Halloween is quickly approaching, we had to keep up our tradition of heading to a pumpkin patch. This year we decided to go to Country Critters in Alvarado.






We were so fortunate to have some of our cousins come meet us for a day of hay rides, pony rides, playground, maze, and lots lots lots of pictures! The girls had a blast. Alexa has been asking to ride a horse everyday for about a month, so to finally get to do it made her day! Ava enjoyed feeding donkey's, she would laugh so hard when they "drooled" on her hands.

 
 
 



 
 
 

Everyone each got to pick out a pumpkin to take home. It took the girls a good 5 minutes to find the perfect pumpkin for them!
And no, those aren't belly rolls...it's Peanut getting bigger everyday :)

We had a great time! I just love this time of year!!!

Little bit of everything...

Here's a quick rundown of things I don't want to do individual posts, but the pics are too cute not to share.
We went to a waterpark in N Arlington. Cannon, Caden and G-Ma joined us!






 

The girls started gymnastics and are loving it! They are really doing a great job!
 

We had meet the teacher might at school. Ms. Norma is their 3's teacher. She is tough but really good with the girls.

We went to Addison's 4th birthday party at leapin lizard, and got to dress like a princess, make-up, finger nails painted and all...
 








 

I turned 32 on Sep 30. For my bday I got hummingbird feeders and a fire pit. We are really going to enjoy these!

Fun time at the park

Tonight we decided to meet one of our favorite people at the park. We love hanging out with Abbey! It's always fun to end your day like this:

Baby Griese - Sonogram Day

Well today has been a much anticipated day. Mike and I went to the doctor to have our sonogram. Everything seems to be right on track! The baby is healthy and there's nothing more we could ask for.
When the technician started I made it clear we do NOT want to know the sex. I think it would be so awesome for Mike to announce to everyone after the baby is here. So she quickly moved the monitor and said it was VERY clear as to the sex of our "peanut" (this is what Ava calls the baby). She had told us to close out eyes and blocked the monitor so she could note for Dr. Froeschke the sex. She finished the rest of the exam, asked if we wanted to seal the sonogram pic in an envelope? And we said no thank you! And we're just happy to hear that everything looks good and the baby looks healthy. Here's a couple of pics from today...
