Before heading out that morning, Ava and Alexa wanted to play with their magnetic dress up dolls.
After we got there Alexa and Ava made themselves at home playing in the backyard.
There were GREAT snacks and drinks, and plenty of kids. After an hour or so of playing and eating, it was time to get ready to hunt.
Here are the girls hating their mommy for making them pose for pictures
And here they are patiently waiting for all the eggs to be hid
(kind of like looking for Waldo)
On your mark, get set, GO!!! and they're off
As they took off, Alexa went left and Ava went right...I was so torn, I didn't know who would need more help. So I kind of hung in the middle, then Alexa made her way back over to where Ava was...Fortunately, they both got exactly 12 eggs...it was perfect, couldn't have done it better is I had planned it...
So proud of my girls, they did a great job hunting their eggs, and had so much fun doing it.
After the egg hunt, we decided to cool off a little and get out of the sun. The girls love Garrett and Gus's playroom...especially the guitar. They both took turns "playing" and singing.
We have almost lived at our new house for a year, and I can't believe how blessed we are to have such amazing neighbors/friends. Gus and Garrett are so much fun, and the girls just love hanging out with them! Debi throws an amazing party and is such a great host!
so glad yall made it. Great friends make great parties:)
