Monday we woke up, got dressed and headed to G-Ma's for some Easter crafts and pizza. Tuesday we went to the Parks Mall and celebrated Dr Seuss' birthday with singing, dancing, made a bookmark and got a cupcake. Before heading home we went to the food court for Chick Fila .Wednesday we made our way to Kennedale Public Library for story time, The story was about a farmer and plants, so after we went outside and planted seeds in a cup to take home. To finish the morning off, we enjoyed playing at the park and brought a picnic lunch. Thursday was a lounge in your pj's day, we colored, cut and glued an Easter basket together, made cupcakes and decorated them and played around the house. To finish off the week, Friday, I took all 3 to the grocery store, alone for the first time. Very successful, we made it out without any crying, broken items or anyone in trouble. At home we made sugar cookies and had the Donaho's over for dinner.
All in all, it was a great week, crammed full of events. I have to say, I'm very excited to be sending the girls back to school Monday. I need a break :)
